Sometimes I can register I’m doing it in the moment or that I’m stewing on something and need to talk about it. It’s hard sometimes to mitigate the feeling because often there is a legitimate grievance at the very source, but I branch out and behaviors I’d shrug off become a part of the problem.

Usually I do and that does help at least a bit. Today is unusual because it’s actual the reverse of the usual dynamic- they’re considerably more angry and upset than I am, or at least validating our anger, but I can’t deny that it’s bleeding into me also.

I’m trying to get better about it once again. I think in the last year it’s gotten considerably worse, though I won’t pretend it wasn’t always a thing to some degree.
