 lends His name to Shakespeare’s shrine, 
where song-lark ministers to those 
whose choral aspirations rose.

Yet underneath the polished sheen 
lurks anything but grace serene;
 as #battered souls still reel in pain 
from that song-lark’s “lovely” refrain.
