I’ve been writing a lot more short fiction recently (who am I?). It’s kinda refreshing to be able to do multiple drafts and editing and get through the whole process in a few weeks, rather than years 😂 #writing

DWTS Season Tonight! This always marks the official start of spooky season for me! 👻🎃 (Helps fend off the seasonal depression) It's also oddly enough the time of year when I get the most writing done! (And this year I have a lot of autumn central or spooky ideas)

Finished my read through!! And have 16 pages of handwritten notes! Time for draft 3!!! Still a lot of developmental things to address and (slightly) overwhelmed but this is the best novel I think I’ve written in my writerly life so far! But also feeling like this in revision😂

I just got some very good feedback for draft 2! Obviously there’s still lots of work and things to improve but it made me excited to dive back in! That’s how I know it’s good feedback, when I resonate deeply and can’t wait to get deeper into revisions. 🤗
