Woke up to a surprise early-morning task of “cleaning four dog diarrhea accidents off the kitchen floor” and finding it somewhat difficult to transition into my next, planned morning task of “organizing my life” (not sure which of these two is the poor sick little culprit, they’re keeping schtum)

I remember being much more comfortable with waiting around for things to happen. Before we had instant-access to everyone and an entertainment device in my pocket that could access a global digital media space, we’d bring a book in case their train was late etc etc
