We’re Brandt&Stein, and together we make comics. Marvel, DC, Power Rangers, some Darkwing Duck, and a lot more besides!

We co-created Marvel’s first trans mutant (Escapade), made Green Arrow’s son asexual, and drew the multi-award nominated CROWDED.

Just about everyone thinks they can write. And they CAN. They can even do it well with practice add learning if they want. But telling stories? That’s what humans do. And we all ingest them. Writing isn’t some special locked away skill it’s a very human accessible thing anyone can do.

Also: writing is a skill not a magic power. It’s furniture building, not communing with the muses. Settle down and just do the work, enjoy it, and stop trying to pretend it’s some deep magical power. It’s a craft. A fun challenging one! But a craft. Relax.
