Look, it’s really straightforward to get a publisher as a new name indie in 2025. Simply do 95% of the work making and marketing your game, and if your metrics are trending towards almost certain success, a publisher will swoop in to promise the remaining 5%, deliver 3%, and collect 75%

I'm talking about his artistic sensibilities, don't at me with "he was in the Klan" or "he famously hated moms" whatever other shit might be on wikipedia. He did outrageous comedy that still had a ton of heart, and figure out how to shoot it in the silent film era.
I just had a mild epiphany. While talking with Ash through a design issue on a new game I'm prototyping, I realized that as a game designer, Buster Keaton is maybe my biggest source of inspiration.
