"Just one idea...???"
I've stumbled across a seam of online videos about the neurodiversity traits of Zoey in KPop Demon Hunters. So many things where *I feel spotted*. Esp infodumping.

Two predictions for week ahead.

The scale of challenge compels us not to pull our punches when parliament returns, even in our own party, in pursuit of social justice.

The John Lewis advert will be revealed a plinky plonky piano version of Golden from kpop demon hunters. 🤷‍♀️

This is a truly remarkable programme from the BBC archives.

A 1971 interview/interrogation of Albert Speer the leading Nazi who apologised and as a result survived - by Michael Charlton, Hugh Trevor-Roper and George Ball whom he had last met at the Nuremberg trials.

"The party needs to tell of successes that connect with each other, and which are all seen to flow from the effective implementation of a clear plan for Britain." Given time lags, wouldn't reversing #Localgov austerity have had a quicker impact at community level?

“Ministers keep telling us what they have done, but voters aren’t hearing them. If the government has a communications strategy, it isn’t working,” writes @peterkellner.bsky.social.

This is such a clever idea on taking kids to museums/galleries
www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...
Nadia from London has an idea that sounds such fun you'll be booking a day out asap.
"I've always loved museums," she says,
"but they can be overwhelming for children. For decades now, I've done something called 'playing postcards'
We do
the museum backwards, visiting the gift shop first. Each child gets to choose three postcards. Then they take it in turns to find that particular artwork in the museum and give us a little information about the piece from the details on the postcard, or from any gallery plaque. At the end of this treasure-hunt-style activity, we vote for our favourite in the cafe."

NEW ANALYSIS: More than 80% of UK social housing still relies on gas boilers keeping bills exposed to international gas markets and climate targets out of reach.

I’ve explored how other European countries are tackling this at scale, and what the UK can learn.

This is a question I keep asking. There is a disconnect between economic and management academic studies.
Economists are now at panic levels over productivity but it’s not something you hear discussed in businesses. A lot of organisations don’t even measure it according to its economic definition.
pojmasta.bsky.social
Given the productivity puzzle has now been a thing for decades, is anyone doing deep empirical work on it - e.g. ID'ing cohorts of high/low productivity firms in the UK and then digging into differences and drivers in their operations, ways of working, strategies etc. via proper observation?

Having illustrated the problem of X ignoring its legal duties, I want to build an effective coalition for intervention. If you are or know people on X receiving racist abuse, rape threats, I would welcome receipts of one rejected attempt to report to the platform an indefensible case
sundersays.bsky.social
Thanks for this kind note. I hope to do something useful with this by Nov/Dec (new Ofcom powers, new EHRC chair). I'd like more women + ethnic minorities to go through (futile) process of reporting shocking stuff (eg rape threats, p-word, n-word) & share receipts with me of one egregious example
