I became a Deadhead about a month after my first Grateful Dead concert which was on May 5, 1990 at Cal State Dominguez Hills in Los Angeles Ca. I then went on to attend many more. And after Jerry Garcia died, I then attend concerts of other old classic rock bands. I saved most ticket stubs. Not all.
Hahahahahh. “Enough is enough”. Hahahahaha. Let’s wait and see what happens next.
Just because the Grateful Dead has a skull as one of their many logos does not mean every skull is Grateful Dead related, or skeleton
In the 90’s, I took BART from Walnut Creek to the Oakland Coliseum to attend Grateful Dead concerts maybe 2 times. A really groovy ride. But the more entertaining part for me was the ride back from the show. Dead heads in all different degrees of after party fatigue or after party excitement I guess
Backstage Jimmy page and The Black Crowes…. Just had to be a rare and epic experience.
Brent Mydland was at one time in his life, the keyboardist for the legendary psychedelic rock band from the 60s, the Grateful Dead. Some say he was the best keyboardist the dead ever had. I saw Brent perform with the band only once on May 5, 1990, or Cinco de Mayo. Today is his birthday so celebrate
Was inside the Los Angeles Coliseum on Oct21,1989 watching Living Colour open for Guns and Roses open for The Rolling Stones. This was my first large rock concert experience and it blew my mind. I dug every moment, musical and other. Since I realized GnR are racist scum, I no longer support them.
I hate to disagree, but there are not that many good Americans in America, they look like upstanding Americans, but lots of them are Nazis, are racist, lots of them are homophobes, and child molester supporters and hateful Christians and ignorant. Not a good place to live for a normal person
Moments after arriving at Shoreline Amphitheater’s parking lot to attend another Grateful Dead concert. Could be July1,1994 when someone in the group scored excellent 100 section mail order seats and bought his camera for the occasion. And I saw most band member notice the camera and posed for a pic
But does it actually make any difference in our government??? I will answer my own question, NOPE!
It’s the year 2025. In most reasonable states, you can buy straight cannabis flower that is factory sealed. If you wanna try it again, it’s safe to do so.
THC Vape pens were not in existence in Nancy’s time. And (most) of what Nancy and her husband believed was wrong.
Used to be a micro stakes gambler, and I’m not any longer. I still dig casinos. Recently traveled to Vegas with the sole intention of scoring Jerry Garcia name brand weed… to find that it’s currently off the market there. I did see these two roulette tables 3 yards apart and boy are they different.
Religious groups bringing youth groups anywhere is concerning
And now I’m wondering the same thing
Dig, but there seem to be no great Americans, smart Americans, brave Americans, big-hearted Americans in our government willing to stand up against what is going on. 51/49% we are witnessing the end of the United States of America’s democratic experiment.
I participated in today’s local No Kings Day Protest….. bc so many nazis should not be in charge of an entire government
A wonderful venue with wonderful public transportation to and from.
Was inside Shoreline on Oct18,1997 watching Neil Young/Metallica/Lou Reed/Blues Traveler/Smashing Pumpkins/Dave Matthews Band/Alanis Morissette/Kacy Crowley perform mini sets at the only Bridge School Benefit Concert I attended. A groovy event with groovy music, but I prefer shows with 1 band, or 2.
They are looking for your permission……probably to use the microphone and camera built into the tv’s.
permission.to
I think this would be a fine protest poster for no kings day.
Had a buddy who had San Francisco 49ers season tickets with his Pa for decades. After his father passed, he invited me to more than a few nfl games at Candlestick Park, including on Oct17,2010 vs MY TEAM, the OAKLAND Raiders. The regulars in the season tickets area kindly welcomed this Raiders fan.
