I changed my handle, as I own the domain ‘64ordle.au’ which is quicker to type than ‘catherine-cowie.bsky.social’.

I hope y’all understand. The current avatar photo was taken on 4 July 2022, and the banner picture more recently at a TMBG concert – a funny thing happened on the way to the forum …

I mean, gender dysphoria obviously has to be measured as a net social cost to a society. Seen in those terms surely the odd orchi, vaginoplasty, breast reduction or augmentation, or metioidoplasty has to be a net social good for a more cohesive social fabric. Sheesh, Ari.

Even the list of illustrations on that page is illuminating, as whatever Frank–Eunice, Angelo–Phyllis, and Jennie were up to in Stuyvesant Sq or the Bowery, they were fully aware that they were /not/ a new phenomenon, out of time. They were fully aware that there were others like them in past times.
