The right-wing group Idaho Liberty Dogs is calling on their followers to counter an "ICE Out of Idaho" event in Boise on Sunday, November 2nd.

The event, hosted by local DSA, 50501, and PSL chapters, is a peaceful action denouncing the Wilder, Idaho raid that took place on Sunday, October, 19th.

SNAP benefits ending has me worried. I didn't use SNAP as an undergrad (although I was probably eligible). But in law school, with a newborn, the wife and I both worked part-time but didn't bring in enough to make ends meet. I graduated during the Great Recession, another child on the way...

$4200 kind of sounds like a lot until you do the math.

For a family of four that would be $2.88/person a day. You can’t feed your family 3 nutritious meals AND stockpile at $2.88/day. You can hardly do it at $2.88/meal.
