Some very good points! In the book 'Social Media for Research Impact', we make a similar point: impact today depends on how we connect, listen, and engage, not just what or where we publish. Perhaps we may even call it a new theory of influence in action—at least helping scholars to make that shift.

What’s remarkable is how widely your ideas have been adopted. Philips, for example, quite literally had your book in hand when opening up the High Tech Campus—one of the sparks that ignited what we now proudly call the Brainport ecosystem.
