I didn't expect I'd see a good review of my work in "The Independent Review" (a right-libertarian journal), but its review of my latest book was "good" in two ways: it was favorable to the book, and most of its suggestions about how the book could have been improved were good suggestions.

Yeah, but the Roundheads were fighting more for Puritan religious fanaticism than for democracy as witnessed in part by their appointed of the Lord Protector.

They were better than the Cavaliers, but their cause was only marginally better.
