I hate this app that you can read the RTF files, Neat Office.
Each time I open the Neat Office when I switch to another file, it sometimes fail to load the file and instead do nothing. Have to restart the PC each time to run again.
Mircosoft Word was better, but it's stuck on a paywall.

tried downloading Marvel Rivals (the one game I wanted to play this very long since it launched) from Xbox store on Ally X, it doesn't read has a console on website or the Xbox app, so went to Stream. hope stream doesn't hurt me like Mircosoft just did...

AND IT'S ONLY A SMALL UPGRADE FROM THE OTHER ROG ALLY X RELEASE LAST YEAR
it's only cool thing is that it has Mircosoft Xbox OS install in it by default, making it up Xbox on start up, making people think it's the same as a Switch or Stream Deck.
It is not worth $1000 just for the Xbox logo X'D

I have never been more glad that my PC broke down eariler this year, I have no reason to get back into the Mircosoft system and working out of a Chromebook is working well for me.

This is why I have just done the 3 year extended support on 10 and am making it a later problem. I have enough going on in my life right now that I don't need to deal with more things... Like them removing the ability to run windows 11 without a mircosoft account and only a local account...

makes sense windows removed wordpad.... to try to force people to pay for the mircosoft word program. like man i remember when that was FREE.

Feeling the same. I just started exploring using Mircosoft Orleans as infrastructure on implementing event sourcing and CQRS. First insights are promising, but it's at an early stage. But it makes fun! And that's the important bit.

I feel like there's a percentage of people online trying to provoke people to act before the deadline, and then another group telling people they might be okay with Windows 10 for months or years. Partly, I thought about waiting just to see if Mircosoft forced the update on the last day.
