The Chinese found meteoritic dust on the far side of the moon and its composition argues that more water-rich asteroids may have hit the Earth early on than previously expected. Cool!
I'm not an expert, but it seems to warrant more lunar far side sampling.

Dust from far side of the moon could reveal more about origin of water in our solar system
Dust brought back to Earth by China's Chang'e-6 mission contains rare meteorite relics that could change our understanding of sources of water and other life-essential ingredients in our solar system.

#OTD in 2009, a superbolide – a large atmospheric fireball blast – was seen above Sulawesi island. The meteoritic impactor broke up at a height of 15–20 km, with an energy of 10 to 50 kiloton TNT, its likely size was 5–10 m diameter. The explosion was detected by many infrasound monitoring stations.

Oh yeah the meteoritic media-phenom president, the guy who hired a minister of justice off TV and let his minister of transports basically be a full time tiktoker, the guy who hasn’t had an opinion outside of win-the-media-cycle in a decade, has thoughts on social-media-driven politics. Splendid.

Look, I loves me some meteoritic, space circuit board #Taenite, but I think if #Kyanite doesn’t win this round of #MinCup25, this sample below from the Smithsonian is going to come to life and, lets just say, open up a can of Big Blue Bust-Up.

For organic material, which is raining down continually on all the bodies in the SolSys, to be attributable to life, there wld have to be a mind-blowing abundance of it ... so much that it couldn't possibly be the result of meteoritic infall.
And beware the use of the word 'biosignature'. Overused!

Staggered Arrival of CM and CI Bodies in Asteroid Belt
In a groundbreaking advance in planetary science, researchers have unveiled new insights into the early Solar System by tracing the complex origins and migration paths of meteoritic materials now found within the asteroid belt. This investigation combines sophisticated N-body simulations with contemporary models of giant-planet growth and orbital migration, illuminating the nuanced processes that determined how different classes of outer Solar System bodies were implanted into the asteroid belt and, ultimately, contributed to the mixture of material from which the terrestrial planets emerged.
