Or if one were to write about a "hetero couple" rather than a "heterocouple" that would really show whether it is a genuine belief about prefixes or not...

I think biphobia comes from insecurity in an monogamous context. I don't think it is unreasonable to be insecure from knowing your partner is attracted to something you fundamentally aren't. It's like in a hetero couple when one partner discovers they are gay. That is the end of the relationship

I was wondering how come German tax software was assuming I have a wife. Then I got a culture shock! Turns out, if married heterocouple files taxes, the husband will be the primary person filing them.
