My smoothie is too cold to hold, so here I have it covered in a colorful, wooly cozy. Contrast colors forming a diamond or ogee shape create an ombre from orange to pink to purple, a total of seven contrast colors. The slender smoothie container is skinnier than a common coffee cozy would fit. Cozies aren't just for hot drinks; they help mitigate unpleasant sensory experiences at all temperatures! Six different knitted cozies, each having a different stitch pattern - as well as height and circumference - use a similar ombre of colors, starting at the bottom with orange, then pinks, purples, and even blue toward the top. Most have a light oatmeal colored background, except a quart jar in the foreground, where the vivid colors pop against an ebony background. Yarns are all Harrisville Designs Highland colors. A small disposable coffee cup stands next to a glass bottle, both wearing bright knitted cozies in a design reminiscent of plaid. The cup colors feature a range of warm to cool purples against dark grey and black backgrounds. The bottle has an oatmeal background, setting off the orange to magenta to purple ombre seen in the other photos. A periwinkle blue accent sets off the oatmeal in the patterning. Again, all Harrisville Designs Highland yarn. Love this stuff.
