In #StarTrekTOS' "Court Martial", both Captain Chandra and a Science officer are eating colourful food cubes. Fun fact: Reginald Lal Singh not only appears as Chandra in the episode ⬇️ but is also seen in #StarTrekSNW's "Strange New Worlds" on Pike's TV, acting in "The Day the Earth Stood Still"⬆️!

We get a good look at Pike's bedroom in #StarTrekSNW's "New Life and New Civilizations". I love that he has a model of the USS Enterprise on display and there are books not in the shelves but on top of the whole shelf unit (like in my bedroom - just not enough space for #StarTrek books!) 😜

Kirk tells Scotty to call him "Jim" in #StarTrekSNW's "Four-and-a-Half Vulcans". In the end, Scotty would call Kirk "Jim" only once on #StarTrekTOS, in "Mirror, Mirror". In #StarTrekTNG's "Relics", he later refered to Kirk as "Jim". Kelvin Scotty calls Kirk "Jim" all the time in the 2nd + 3rd film.

The device that Pelia shows Scotty in the engineering lab in #StarTrekSNW's "New Life and New Civilizations"⬆️ could be a prototype of sorts, as it includes large isolinear chips (it's called "ISO" on the side). We also saw large isolinear chips on the Enterprise-B in "Star Trek: Generations"⬇️.

Notice how the alien writing at the top of the portal on the floating Skygowan temple in #StarTrekSNW's "New Life and New Civlizations" looks more like fighting, agonizing humans than an actual language - very much befitting the epic fight between good and evil.
