yesterday in the Courtown Riverchapel workshop their were satellite maps printed

striking to see the number of mobile homes and the amount of land they take up

swathes of land not developed or under scrub

it was difficult to see where was what

I just kept thinking who owns the land?

Well, my parents also owned a holiday home in the sunny southeast (Riverchapel) and I enjoyed the summers I spent there.
I certainly hope that (if I ever become a famous writer) people 120 years after my death don't remove the plaque from the Clontarf home I grew up in and call me "a Wexford man"😅
