So the Arizona Great Buy 99 card game is absolutely a reimplementation of ONO 99 (itself based on a traditional card game), but it’s one I like quite a lot. The theme works perfectly, and the small gameplay tweaks feel like good quality of life updates.

The work is based on prototypes I did in the last few months, but is a complete reimplementation with lots of optimizations, including portable SIMD. I believe it's the fastest pure Rust CPU renderer, and also shares a lot of logic with vello_hybrid. 2/2

I have accidentally created a shit reimplementation of lit.dev in my component lab while iterating on the parts of making my components that have felt lacking.

I think it’s time to just migrate to Lit.

Something I just learned about today: Simitone, a 3D reimplementation of The Sims 1, based on work done for a (now defunct) revival of The Sims Online

Also played a game of Milkuro (a reimplementation of Trick Taking in Black and White) with the couple that hosted me in Essen. It's definitely a good one to introduce to non gamers/trick takers. But the scoring is quite punishing.

Linear’s Liquid Glass reimplementation doesn’t look half bad - until you start actually using it, and realise that it’s 300x worse without the squishy feedback and animations. it feels dead

jason, i know about blogging api's, the microblog api is a reimplementation of something i developed in the early 00s. it works, but covers a small part of the functionality of a blogging system. what wordpress did is far in advance of that. and imho it will matter to writers.

I got a boxed copy of Klax (JPN) for #gameboy at Retro World Expo for 2 DOLLARS. 😭

And the weirdest thing is it's a 100% unique reimplementation compared to the US release! 🤯

Yes! They want to bait it as a pretext to invoking the Insurrection Act and employing the military against us. Note that any congressional reauthorizations and reimplementation of the John Warner Defense Authorization Act would probably face little resistance. The huge slippery slope in this.

have you tried Hamburg? the “reimplementation” of it? I really love it

Y'all can find most of the products shown above in Stillfleet Studio's website! stillfleet.com

Stillfleet is one of my favorite indie TTRPGs, and Blister Critters is a beautifully illustrated reimplementation of the core ruleset.

I would suggest pushing for a reimplementation of the Robinson-Patman Act and expand it to cover more types of goods and retailers.

a HUGE project from Heiko - Gossan is a Rust clean-room reimplementation of the Pebble runtime. TLDR: it can run app/face PBWs as if they were running on PebbleOS. He's ported it to Playdate already (bc it has same display tech)

I'm not really sure if snss *is* pickle, is a compatible reimplementation of python's pickle... even though it uses the name.

But it's not working so far! I need to do my first Rust debugging & step through & see what's happening.

(I would not consider copy-pasted source to be reuse, I'd call it reimplementation)

beside my git reimplementation im starting a fullstack project ! the idea is to create a hub for all the small API developers :) so you can easily share your cool stuff !

I played it for the first time last year and really got into it. I highly recommend the Augustus reimplementation for quality-of-life and engine improvements

"AI is going to replace this thing!"

New headline: AI's first attempt replacing this thing was disastrous, all chances of its reimplementation have been destroyed

I'd love to show Cork: corkmac.app/

Easy to use, powerful GUI for Homebrew. It helps average users to get into package managers with ease; power users will get their tasks done faster

It includes a drop-in reimplementation of some Homebrew logic, up to 500x faster than the original
