Ofgem is not fit for purpose - just like Ofwat it is totally corrupt and no more than a revolving door between the regulator and the huge profit-taking corporations draining public money out of what should be national public services.

The case for renationalisation is overwhelming, yet this Labour govt seem intent on ignoring it.
They promised reduction in bills; this is the way to achieve that, not VAT cuts that further subsidise energy co profiteering.
We already know #OfgemIsCorrupt, is Labour corrupt too?

Let's be honest, #OfwatIsCorrupt and is not fit for purpose (likewise #OfgemIsCorrupt).
However, this is not the answer - the answer is #Renationalise.

Correct, #OfgemIsCorrupt. And so are all the other regulators that start "OF".
They're supposed to be on our side. They do nothing for us consumers but they allow the very companies they're supposed to be "regulating" rip us off.
Aided & abetted by our weak #Labour government.
