yeah, i had a scar tissue keloid on the inside of my lip because i fainted a few years ago and SMACKED my mouth on the hardwood floor (10 stitches!) and they did a couple hits of steroids in there and it’s gone now

TY for sharing. I have vampire skin. My scars just vanish after 18 months. I used to cut safe parts of my arm to study how my skin heals. No keloid and barely visible. I heal very fast for unknown reasons so 🤞 for my surgery.

When my Mom got her nose pierced(at 50 something) she developed a big keloid on the inside of her nostril and had to be shown how to drain it with cotton swabs so it didn’t harden and stay there

so I apparently have a Nose Pimple growing nearish to my septum piercing (like, reasonably far away from it, it's not a keloid) and that is why I want to DIE every time I bump that side by accident. I also apparently have the most sensitive nose in the planet, which is cool. Cooooooool cool cool.

it seems like the original doc didn't get the whole thing, what i assumed was a keloid on the scar ended up getting mondo abscessed/infected. new doc had to excise all the scar tissue, local anaesthesia was not perfect due to infection
just remembered I can take Tylenol for this tho. Eureka!!

Omfg I got Cortisone shots along a keloid in my aching foot. Pain was over a 10, I said bad words and yelled. Not doing that again!! Can’t walk on it yet, still hurts #pain #Cortisone #podiatry #Thursday

Me: Seeing a woman with half her arm tattooed all black and thinking what my keloid scarring would look like if I tried it.
The 1st tattoo I ever got bled like a mother fucker and scarred up bad.
The next few tattoos, I told them to NOT go deep due to keloid scarring.

Prayers for a complete healing. Be proud of your life battle scar. I had open heart surgery 20 yrs ago, and was left with a 5 inch flat (non Keloid) scare down the middle of my chest. I still thank GOD for the skilled cardiac surgeon & team + a "centermass" conversation topic.
