Despite Jimin’s smaller frame, there’s an easy dominance to the way he holds Taehyung, something possessive even in the surprisingly gentle way he cradles the back of Taehyung’s head with his hand.

Yoongi doesn’t want to, he tries not to, but when Jimin’s eyes move to him, he can’t help but stare back. There’s a challenge in Jimin’s gaze, and as much as Yoongi wants to pretend it isn’t for him, he can’t resist the feeling that wells up in him, a hot, bitter surge of something that he can only acknowledge as jealousy.

They look good together. Like they belong together, two opposite yet equally desirable ideals of male beauty. Taehyung, tall and dark like a hero from a romance novel, and Jimin, lithe and delicate, sharply, cuttingly, all-destroyingly beautiful, like a knife he wants to be wounded by.

Yoongi swallows, loath to speak out loud the thing he knows has happened, the source of these sudden feelings for Taehyung. He’s somehow managed not to have a breakdown yet, because he let himself be distracted, try to think around it, because maybe that would mean it could be undone—

It can’t be undone. A soul bond is a soul bond. He, and this demon, and Taehyung— they’re irrevocably bonded for life. Maybe even after that, if the stories are to be believed.

The second is Namjoon's and Namjoon's alone - he makes the mistake of looking down when Cooky’s ears are, uh, vaguely flesh-colored protuberances…and once he's seen it, he can't unsee.

Jimin calls almost immediately after receiving the photos.

“I didn't do it on purpose!” Namjoon half-shrieks into the phone in lieu of a greeting.

“Who else crocheted an obscene Cooky? I wasn't in the room!”

“It's not obscene!”

Jimin's silence speaks for itself.

“It's…evocative?” Namjoon tries.

There's a thump that long experience tells Namjoon is Jimin's phone hitting the bed, and peals of laughter.

They sit down in front of each other, Hoseok propping an elbow on the table and his chin on his hand, looking at the people walking on the street. They’re just across the square and judging by the time of day, it shouldn’t be so busy with people jogging—don’t these people have work, for God’s sake?
Sometimes, Hoseok wishes he could be so free that he could jog at midday on a working day.
“So,” Jimin starts, right before the waiter sets two glasses with ice, lemon and a jar with tap water. “Care to tell me what’s on your mind?”
Hoseok turns to him. He shrugs it off.
“Come on, hyung. You’re too old to act like a child.” He sighs. “You seem aloof and it hasn’t started today. You’ve been like this for weeks, and I don’t know if it’s work related or if I did something—”
“No, it isn’t you,” Hoseok says quickly, the thought of having put this worry in Jimin’s beautiful brain dreading him. “I… I wasn’t aware I was being so obvious.”
“You weren’t to anyone else,” Jimin says. “But you were to me. I know you, Hobi. I’ve known you for years, I’m your oldest friend. Of course you wouldn’t be able to hide it from me.”
“Yeah… I guess you’re right.” Hoseok sighs. “I didn’t mean to, though.”
“Didn’t mean to what?”
“Make you worry about it. Cause, you know,” Hoseok clears his throat, poking his cuticles. “Cause it’s nothing to worry about.”
Jimin’s expression changes at that. Where there was a crease of worry in his forehead, suddenly shifts into a narrowed gaze, an all-too-knowing expression that makes Jimin press his lips into a thin, serious line. Hoseok averts his gaze, unable to hold Jimin’s cunning stare.
Because he knows.
He knows, and Hoseok knows he knows, but he will lie to himself until the very end to pretend he doesn’t.
