The free camera mode on fs2024 is the closest I’ll get to being able to fly. It’s amazing you can some out and soon into anywhere in the world in seconds.

Pro: FS2024 runs noticeably better in VR than FS2020 did
Con: Opening and then closing the pause menu in VR has about a 50/50 chance of crashing the game
I think this sim has the potential to be worth the upgrade, but I'm gonna wait for a QoL patch or two before I really sink time into it

Got some FS2024 time in today, mostly loading mods like the Goose. Apparently there is a water issue - this is the Caribbean sea - not grass IRL 😅

I've been having fun with my new 'PC' as my FFXIV friends know I've been lost & confused with mods but I AM getting there. But what keeps distracting me is this ..I mean OMG I love flying around sightseeing. This handheld PC is amazing but battery life is LAME on Max power settings to run fs2024 😄

Started training for the Helicopter license in FS2024, didn't want to skip the startup procedure, couldn't manage to start the Guimbal Cabri G2, checked Youtube for a reallife startup tutorial, it worked perfectly, I love this game.

I only go to YouTube if I can't figure something out(like starting a helicopter is FS2024). What's been nice for me here, is when I have had a couple differences of opinion, that ended without anyone getting mad or posturing.
