In addition to legal experts @envirojustice.bsky.social , I'd add that environmental & conservation science experts also call for real reform, not more rhetoric, slippery words, and confident endorsements or centrist exhortations that are flatly wrong

Reality - Dems made mild overtures to the left by a centrist candidate in 08 and won twice. Then they've spent the last 10 years trying to court never-Trumpers and running 2 losing center right campaigns.

I don’t know about anything creepy. The executive & the legislature are two coequal branches. I would say the legislature did not fight hard enough for progressive priorities and both branches are centrist. He’s been a bit soft spoken, but has become more vocal of late.
