1. The idea was:

To lean into the indulgent 'evil is fun' villain vibes after being invested in Adaarwall for years (I'll start a thread for them later).
I wanted to spoil Gortash with a happy 'fairytale' ending.

Throw in my love for hurt / comfort too. He doesn't get off *entirely* scott free. 😉
