Mark Rutte:

During my visit to Kyiv today I saw a civilian heating plant targeted by Russian missiles.

No military value whatsoever - attacks meant only to make people suffer.

But Ukraine stands strong. And NATO stands with you.

This is how Ukrainians are surviving this winter.

All I can say is that russia is a terrorist state and all russians are complicit in these war crimes.

W #NATO head Rutte in #Kyiv, #Zelensky says #Russia must face consequences over overnight attack

Licenses are needed so Europe can protect itself, e.g. missiles crucial for air defense systems

Essential that “Europeans would be ready to do if Russia will attack us again & what Americans will do”

Russia absolutely going full terror on Ukrainian civilians. Russians struck a residential district of Zaporizhzhia, the regional administration reported. The attack sparked a fire, with cars burning at the site. There are reported casualties following the strike. #Ukraine

Q: Trump said Putin agreed to halt attacking Ukraine bc of the cold, but today we're seen Russia launching heavy attacks. What's your reaction?

LEAVITT: I spoke with the president and his reaction was unfortunately unsurprised. These are two countries that have been engaged in a very brutal war.
