Yes indeed. They prefer the peanuts taking them all first. I feed mostly during wintertime & not every day - maybe 2x/week. A wildlife biologist said while she couldn't officially condone feeding, kibbles was a go-to. They eat the peanuts & cache the kibbles they don't eat in the snow for later.
