Yep. They fucked up when they rewrote the law and "accidentally" made consent 13. It had been 16. Still too young, imo.
I watched Manhattan many times before #metoo. I always thought it was disgusting. Art is personal. I love the cinematography but the Hemingway scenes absolutely make me shudder.

It's a Lolita type story... also disgusting. I get it. I am not a moron. It's still gross. There are little throwaway lines in his other movies that are also disturbing but they aren't a subplot. This is. Blegh. He's a genius. Still icky.

He is 100% correct. Funny to me how when the young people on the left argue, they are respectful and well reasoned and when the young people on the right argue, it immediately devolves into "get out of country" and "Hitler wasn't so bad."
