Running a blurred version of the mosaic through the iNaturalist database got me a beetle taxon with an uncanny high resemblance, which only occurs in SE-Asia: Dichronocephalus

My OC Phylla, a plant demon and NiyotanENs sona Mika, a bunnygirl sitting at a Kotatsu. Phylla still has a dendelion-leaf tail, since it is an earlier design than the current one. Her skin is pea green and her hair more grass green. She has two long bangs in the back, but otherwise rather short hair. She is wearing a pretty colorful yukata and black-white striped socks. She is pealing and eating small citrus fruits, a terracotta mug with hot cocoa in front of her. Mika is wearing her usual white T-shirt and black sports pants. She is absorbed in her Switch game and also has a mug of hot beverage. Mika's voluminous purple hair is partially conceiling a decorated christmastree in the background. The kotatus has a purple cover with white stars. A window in the background shows fireworks.

One of my first pieces of #pixelart that got quite some attention over there XD

The Tower of Babel. We actually have the original in our local art museum and I got to see it once^^
Pixelart study of "The Tower of Babel" by Pieter Bruegel the Elder, 1563. A partially finished round tower of stone spans a plane from the town in the background to the left to the ocean or a wide river on the right, dwarfing the two- and threemasted ships nearby. It has seven storeys on the outside to the left, while only one is completed on teh ocean side and two more are almost finished. The tower seems to be partially cut out of a massive piece of rock and built with bricks or precut stone blocks. in the front to the left is a group of people, royalty and companions overseeing the construction and both servants and craftsmen working on more stone blocks.

Pixelart animation to celebrate 250 followers here on Bluesky! It uses some of the isomatric art I made for a game I wanted to develop. It shows my OC Phylla in a victory pose-idle animation and two purple slimes, which would have been enemies dancing and bumping boxes which spawn fireworks. The words "Thank you!" keep changing colors in a gradient between red, yellow and blue, while bouncing up and down. A big "250" stands behind Phylla and below the "Thank you!". The background is mostly blue grass, a partially broken red brick road with fishbone pattern and cliffs.

A Halloween themed Your-Charakter-Here commission I did earlier this year showing three female characters in a hallway of a haunted mansion investigating Scooby Doo-style by following glowing green footprints to a hidden door in the wall. A remaster attempt for the hub village of Bomberman Quest. The village has a library, a bomb store and two houses, as well as a big pond around the store. The most striking difference to the original is the change in palette and increased detail of the crashed spaceship in the North-Western corner. Also there is more variety with the grass and waterlily leaves. I've also added shadows cast by buildings, fences, signs and trees. High resolution portrait of my youngest OC Lysimachia. She is human, but not entirely so. She has straight brown hair, which is overall short, but she has some long bangs that frame her face and a few very long bangs in the back that are played with by the wind. Her eyes are bright green and her pupils are more cat-like. She has a soft smile and blushes a little as she looks at the viewer. Her hair is adorned with a tiara of leaves and two flowers. She is wearing a top made of similar leaves and her neck is mostly covered with a complex choker made from octagonal elements with inlaid gold and gems, from which short chains with red pearls are dangling. A pixelart study of a ladybug. One of the pieces of my (incomplete) insect study series. the ladybug is depicted from right above, with the head pointing right. It looks very symmetric, but there are slight deviations because of the lighting. The shading has a dithering inspired by copper plate engraving.

Halloween YCH pixelart commission I did for Amaelisatv. It shows her character on the left and two of her friends in the center investigation a spooky manor Scooby Doo style. On the floor are toxic green footprints leading to a location at the wall and ending there.

Environment tileset for a top down game. The tiles are 20x20 pixels in size. Soil and dirt textures are warm and rather saturated in color with round corner edges. There are also 8 different ore floor textures, which differ in color and/or pattern. They all have a differently behaving tileset, that allows the construction of circles up to 5x5 tiles or rounded blobs, rings and more. Each ire also has a "centerpiece" object. A regular grey rock, basalt pillars, amethyst-like purple crystals, orange cylinders or prisms, cpnnected yellow cubes, similar to pyrite, sedimentous rock embedded with blue gems, a green gem that almost looks like a facetted upside down egg and a flowerlike rusty-red ore.
