Oh, trust me, I'm sick of the Florida Man Games in the living room every holiday. It would be nice if my brother functioned as an adult and would help instead of refusing to reinstate his license. I should never have moved back here and went with the shittier offer in CT.

I swear to fucking god, this woman was jealous of my husband, now she's jealous that I'm dating again, because she sits at home and complains about my dad all day. I'm so over this. She needs help, won't listen to any of us kids. I'm out of cope.

Death is so taboo in the modern society, and if it wasn't for this practice plus the Death Positive Movement, I don't know how I would have managed Jeff's passing. More folks should celebrate Allhallowtide as it was intended. This is my All Saints setup. Tomorrow I recombobulate for All Souls. (fin)

This is not Halloween, this is something far more sacred, and you don't have to be religious to experience it or how it helps grief. All Souls Day doesn't exist in a vacuum, it's just the Roman Church's practice. (4)

After being invited by folks we met at the festival in San Diego to process with the Mexica/Aztec to the community ofrenda, I was never so touched in my life. My late husband and I were given marigolds to put on the unmarked graves, and we do so with honor. (3)
