I plan to drop support of some unsupported OS versions (iOS < 15.1, Android SDK < 24), and I think it will not be a major bump for my libraries (ex: 5.4.2 -> 5.5.0)

It always has been clear in the README, and will be in the release changelog.

I have an old pair of Salomon Ultra 3 Mid GTX, been very happy with them. But I also heard the v4 is not as good

But fortunately, it's about removing conditions between iOS and Android.

Here expo-navigation-bar is used with a defined background color. By using truly transparent nav bar this problem doesn exist.

Currently working on edge-to-edge for BlueSky. It's a bit of work given the current keyboard management, but doable!

As I develop the package using Android emulators (testing it on each Android version from 6 to 15), and only own a Pixel 4a stuck on Android 13, I had to test Android 15 behavior on an emulator.

The navigation bar behavior was erratic:
