This is what my two Dem senators got for voting to end the shutdown. If they could just make their Republican colleagues understand why not extending the subsidies is harmful to their constituents. 😏

I don't think these centrists understand the damage they are doing to the party. They feel that as dems we have no where else to go, and that we will vote for them regardless. Unfortunately what happens is that they turn off their base, and voter apathy results. Then authoritarianism wins.

I'm a constituent, and both in March and now, I called, sent emails, posted on FB, begging her not to cave. There appeared to be thousands of similar posts. I received no response. Same with Hassan.

Why is it your job to make concessions? It was the Republicans who refused to negotiate, and the fire was directed upon them. You just blew up any leverage the dems had. But not surprising since you did the same thing in March.

If you are going to capitulate, what is the point of having you in office? The Republicans never cave. They just wait out the weak democrats to do their work for them. I guess you were speaking to your constituents when you went on Fox and Friends.

Yes, I called my senators Hassan and Shaheen then too, just like I did today. They are completely tone deaf. I am not sure why we need them if they stand for nothing.

I am so disappointed and disgusted by my NH senators. They certainly are not giving anyone any reason to support democrats in NH. Why bother?

Yep, that's my senator. So disgusted by the weak dems here in NH, including Hassan. Shaheen is on her way out, but she has a daughter who is running for congress next year. I will no longer vote for any centrist democrats here again. Why bother?
