There's some stuff I'm less happy with (the issue of needing more time to flesh things out still very much exists) but overall, S2 is such an obvious improvement over S1

That lesson from Charlie sticking with him so deeply, that it inspired him to be redeemed and he uses it to help inspire Sera to finally think straight.

He embodies the concept of redemption at this point and it really shows what this show can be at its best

It's quite annoying sometimes just how many youtubers don't really care to give a proper analytical view of writing. They'd rather go along with anything a story tells them with no thought for how it all actually lines up.

Skyen pays far more attention. It's so much more valuable and I love it

I genuinely didn't see it coming at all and it makes me far more interested in where Angel's character will go in the future and the way it recontextualises things in S1 makes me keen to rewatch it at some point.

The only thing I wish would be different was that we'd get more of a back-and-forth with Lucifer and Vox. I feel like Lucifer goes quiet for far too long and essentially lets Vox take over the narrative. Having more of an actual argument, where Vox comes out on top, would be more satisfying

Even since the literal first episode, she's always been someone who gets too focused on proving that her dreams are possible and ends up not listening to any rational voices.

She hasn't been through the development to overcome her weaknesses yet. Give it time lmao

It's not like nothing else can be done with Adam in the future, it's just a shame that he got such limited screentime in S1 given how relevant he is to the story and especially because of his connection to Lucifer
