I should upload my messy ocaml solutions to Advent of Code 2018-2024 to Github before AOC 2025 starts.
They all use stdlib only (of whatever version was latest at the time I did it), except for one problem I did by hand and a few (~3) which use LAPACK (via handcrafted ffi or lacaml).

Trying to come up with ways to provide some basic programming skills professional development for general data processing for a subordinate who had a bad experience with python in college (I don't blame him, I don't like python either), but it's kind of hard to figure out where to start.

Trying out labwc (wayland) on some computers because of Xorg issues with some graphics configurations and it's alright, but not quite openbox.
At least rofi has wayland support now.
Ghostty has some issues with the compose key when uim (JP input) is enabled, which sucks, but is managable.

Finished all of AOC 2018!
I got a little frustrated near the end; put in the number of rounds vs number of remaining soldiers for 24b and couldn't understand why my solution was wrong (it was right, but after I improved stalemate detection I realized I was just using the wrong number.)

The new edition of Mushishi is using CC Ask for Mercy for dialogue! Bless the letterer and editor on this project for choosing that. It's such a huge improvement over the prior edition.
