How would they have any more ability than they do now? Before UBI would even go into effect, the rental market would shoot up in price to compensate. You'd need the rent control to exist first.

"Grocery bags" are no longer a thing here. If you don't have your own bags, you have to buy reusable bags, or figure out a way to transport your groceries bagless. It would actually be way MORE suspicious to keep throwing those bags out. x3
