This film isn’t reliant on SFX or flashy scenes. It develops solely out of the emotions on screen. It’s been a while since I’ve had a movie with quite the mindfuck this one did. Excellent work and Oscar worthy on several levels.

Emma Stone is an undisputed genius and this movie reinforces her as a creative powerhouse. The acting is flawless and focused. The entire storyline exists within small, abrasive interactions with other characters.

I will never get comfortable watching Alison Williams and Dave Franco play the adults. It makes sense given how long they’ve been acting. But it makes me feel old lol

This film has all the drama you can imagine or want from a Colleen Hoover adaption. For being two full hours, it wasn’t boring at any point. This was another made in Georgia film so it’s like a game of I Spy.
