I corrected that typo like four times before posting too. e_e

Other small gripes include the controls (some are just weird) and the lack of enemy diversity. The latter I mostly mean in terms of many of these enemies feel like redskins of older Prime trilogy enemies. Was hoping for more there. And the lamorn are boring thus far, but that might change as I play.

You do get the exploration aspect and the silence you're used to. Only certain times when they're relevant do the NPCs speak. Even the aliens talk to you and they're not bad either. It's a good balance! Only downside is how difficult backtracking is. It takes a lot of time for me to get anywhere.

I know McKenzie is a bit overbearing at the start but he is your tutorial level guy. After the first zone he leaves you alone unless the game is trying to direct you (no different from the maps in Primes1-3). And even then you choose when to talk to him outside of that. The other one wasn't bad too.

They did reuse ideas though, especially with some of the basic enemies. There's parallels of geemers, war wasps, blood flowers, etc. I like the new flora/fauna but the reused ideas is a bit stale. Glad I was right about psychic powers in the Metroid universe! 😈 My OCs still got it (work with canon)!

abilities like Samus get along. Nerd boy is fun and to everyone calling him annoying? Go play a Halo game. He's no worse than the marines and has his own charm and a normal among what is essentially a super soldier.

Anyway, I got out of the first area and it's fun to me.
