Saw Feist on the Let It Die tour, which must have been booked for clubs before Mushaboom blew up. She played Club One in St. John’s, which held maybe 400 people? Just a big bar room. Just the mic stand behind her and the front row of people 🤘

It had been five days with no flights in or out of Nain. Every guest at the Atsanik Hotel had somewhere they were trying to go. But the person furthest from home was right where they wanted to be.

This was as close as I came to seeing the northern lights in Labrador! I think the effect was caused by ice crystals forming on my camera lens ❄️
