His narcissism is so transparent to anyone with a brain cell. Why (and I ask this in all seriousness) do his followers not see it?

He is literally the dictionary definition of a pejorative. The Oxford English should have "see Trump" next to every derogatory term in its many volumes.

No I read the article too. I know there's some nuance to this but, the main takeaway is that we have lost perspective on what are true mental illnesses and what is part of the human condition. Knee jerk medicalisation of life's rich pageant trivialises those who are really suffering.

Also agree. No one likes to see someone suffering and not coping. They need support, preferably from friends and family otherwise from organisations designed to help (financially or emotionally). In other words be kind, listen and be a good human being.

We all need help and understanding when coping with life's brickbats but, to medicalise the normal stresses, strains and disappointments of modern life helps no one.
