It is soon time for another Year In Art, and I just went and looked at last year's thing and... I really made all these just last year? IT feels like it has been a longer time, somehow. But it is true, and I have drawn a LOT ever since, too.

Happy October, and #inktober for those who observe! I've never been one for the official challenges or the lists for that, but last year I decided to do my own inktober and drew the characters of Brand of Gold in Major Arcana of Tarot.

There are some things I cannot properly overstate when it comes to how I have managed to draw a webcomic for four years. One is the existence of my beloved, who acts as my editor, occasional background artist, occasional storyboard artist, and 100% hype person.

This year I made some diary doodles that I published on Instagram (Ylvanaar there as well). They are nothing special, but it is nice to look back at them and the different emotions I have had, along with the related thoughts.

Another #WolfBride update. I have now started writing the spring chapter (as well as a couple of other chapters further down the wheel of the year so that I know what I'm foreshadowing), and have send the prologue to the second test reader. The feedback continues to be encouraging!

Throughout the years I have tried to every now and then draw myself. I look less in the mirror these days, and I notice it also affects in the way that I no longer like to draw myself.
But I should. I got my first streak of silver in my hair, and that if something would warrant a self-portrait!

I haven't talked about Wolf Bride here in a bit, so have an update:
- Prologue is DONE and it has received excellent feedback from the test readers
- It fell very close to the 25k words I estimated to be and it's turning out really good
