Harvard should take a lesson from MIT. Harvard’s endowment is currently at $53 billion, vs. $25bn for MIT. Its undergrad pop is ~7k vs. 4.5k for MIT, so on the surface I don’t see why Harvard couldn’t implement a similar policy. Instead, Harvard only waives tuition for families making under $85k.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology to waive tuition for families making less than $200K
MIT tuition was $57,986 for the 2022-2023 school year, which is higher than the average for four-year private institutions in the U.S.

It is so disheartening that in a so-called progressive city like Cambridge, MA so many showed up to oppose 80, new, affordable housing units because of "neighborhood character." I feel like I don't know my city anymore.

It's also important to remember the only reason ppl can get vaccines without paying a copay is thanks to the ACA. and even then the ins companies can put restrictions on *where* their members can get the vaccine. If they *also* do away w/ the ACA, we could easily see $50-$100 copay for each shot
