My fave undergrad class by a gravity-welled mile was Science in Literature, tbh a secret philosophy class. We experimented with Relativity Visualized, analyzed the math hidden in Alice in Wonderland, and argued over Blade Runner’s personhood questions. I’m so jealous of the students in this class.👇
First day of my Philosophy of Cosmology class! I'm interpreting "cosmology" pretty broadly. There will be three main topics: 1) Anthropics and the multiverse; 2) The arrow of time; 3) Quantum foundations, especially Many-Worlds. The idea of self-locating uncertainties will be a common thread.

Last Thanksgiving, two Dallas Police officers knocked on my door, citing a tip from the FBI national threat operations center that I was beating my girlfriend. The incident report confirms this. Today, I obtained a file from the FBI via FOIA that states the FBI has no record of receiving such a tip.

Yesterday in car, Fat Bottomed Girls came on & my 5 yo daughter made me play it 3 times. When we got in car this AM, she immediately said “play the fat bottom song” & we listened to it 4 times. She was singing along after the second play. Dropped her off, then I listened 3 more times on the way home
