I found the shelter photos of Timbits. He was in kitty jail for quite a long time because the shelter wanted just the right home. Fortunately they decided that the right home was with me.

My local footpath actually goes through a housing estate but it looks like it's in the depths of a forest. I love it at this time of year.

Here's the shield and some other lovely things that have all been pulled out of the river. The Waterloo helmet is the reason we see Vikings and other warriors mistakenly depicted with horned helmets, even though it's pre-Roman Celtic. It's the only horned Iron Age helmet ever found in Europe.

Absolutely exhausted but have had a fun day at the local convention. I went as Grotbags and got the most amazing reaction from people. So many asked for photos, and I loved chatting about 80s and 90s kids telly. I also had my cat sketched by one of the Beano artists that came out perfectly 🥰
