The Fight for $15 movement started in like 2012–its abject lunacy that we’re still not EVEN there.
It's so telling that centrists want Dems to back off from $15 to a $12 minimum wage. No real logic behind it - no economic reason, no political reason, nothing. They literally just looked at the numbers and said "well $12 is sort of halfway"

Just seeing the first episode, Alien: Earth is a damn treat. So much world-building that feels in line with that first film in a great way, fantastic cast, and exciting stakes established for a (hopefully) great season of TV! Between this and Peacemaker coming back, I am loving TV!

Most of the internet used to be like this. This is actually the default, it took companies enclosing the internet and adding weird, soul-killing incentives to make people behave the way they do now. In a way, there is truly nothing special about Wikipedia except that it survived longer.
