Fabula Ultima #ttrpg continues fun - heroes have now crashed into a tropical floating island while seeking a source of vital Lithidium fuel for their stolen airship. I've downloaded a remarkable number of pictures of magic the gathering dinosaurs, many more than I need for a side quest. Oh well.

PROJECT : OWLBEAR Handouts for Salvage Union #ttrpg I ran this afternoon. Took inspiration from the Rainmaker adventure by @lukegearing.bsky.social (and be inspiration I mean half of them are directly ripped). Probably nothing for my players to worry about. It's a very old project.

Almost everyone else I know is at an important meeting down south about one (1) former race-course and some probably structurally sound sheds. I meanwhile am on a train to That Bolton to hang with a homie and play Arkham Horror LCG. I am wearing my Christmas Hat for reasons. Wish everyone luck.

Who would I get to host strictly?
So a hexcrawl is more like a map where PCs can travel anywhere they can get to, but they explore by moving between hexes. Because of the scale involved, there's often a procedural element to what they find, with only some of the hexes have keyed encounters. 1/2

Nodes connected by routes, basically. Like an underground map or a dungeon with more stylised passages. This is the one I'm using for the current area in Salvage Union (although I'm running in a way that gives PCs info about what is in each node, which is not default, but helps decision making)

Ran #SalvageUnion #ttrpg. At the last minute I decided not to run Rainmaker, and instead rip chunks of it off. It's a good adventure, but the maps didn't entirely get the more sandboxy point-crawl feel I was after. So we're in NOT DARTMOOR looking for Smith*Cross*Pride Technologies black R&D sites.
