@suezw.bsky.social Do I have it right? We are killing fishermen and have 15,000 troops with a carrier group off the coast of Venezuela to fight drug trafficking! And the President is ready to pardon the former president who is convicted of trafficking drugs to the USA? WTF?

“Displaying the probability of a specific home flooding this year or within the next five years can have a significant impact on the perceived desirability of that property,” Art Carter, CRMLS CEO.

No kidding. But to hide it? Home buying has turned into a scam to pad pockets. There. Said it.
Zillow property listings no longer show risk of fires, floods, and storms
The change follows complaints that climate risk scores were making properties less desirable.

The single greatest asset we have for rebuilding American democracy after Trump is the all the federal workers who were recently fired/resigned. What are progressive funders doing now and over the next 3 years to leverage that asset?

You know what's interesting though, stories about GLP-1's really don't focus in on the fact that it's an injection.

Yes, I know it's an auto injector but it's still a shot.

Just imagining how much better it would be if ALL news stories about vaccine-preventable illnesses were illustrated with pictures of people with the disease, not pictures of needle injections. If you must show something that people will find scary & unpleasant, make it the disease, not the cure.

To kick people out of the USA—many of whom are indigenous to the Americas—they are disregarding the tribal IDs of Native (US) Ameicans, ignoring the treaties of 100+ years standing with the people who are, you know, the REAL Americans.
“Trish Carter-Goodheart, a Democratic candidate and citizen of the Nez Perce Tribe, spoke plainly: Racism and discrimination remain real and persistent …

When the conversation hit a nerve, [the GOP senator] abruptly stormed out, shouting: ‘Why don’t you go back to where you came from?’”
Tribal IDs Are Federally Recognized. ICE Agents Are Ignoring Them.
Opinion. During last year’s Idaho election, a Republican state senator lost his composure when a candidate forum turned to the topic of racism.

They would be wise not to blow it.
