THE LOST CITY is a short comic story written by me and illustrated by an American artist @quigleyer.bsky.social. The idea for it came to me when I was playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Tomb Raider Remastered. 🎮

Pluribus is still going strong but my show of the year right now is THE CHAIR COMPANY and I really don't think anything will be able to beat it in the remaining 29 days.

Hello, I’m from Gaza.
We’re living through hell
homes destroyed, memories erased, loved ones gone. Even the innocence of our children has been shattered.
Every bit of help—even a small donation—could save a life or rekindle a flicker of hope.

Thank you for remembering Gaza 😢🙏

NBC: "Gaza death toll rises to 70,000 as ceasefire is tested by repeated outbreaks of violence."

The death toll is far higher and the attacks continue. Life is treacherous for civilians.

Please give to my friend Tasneem so she can feed her children. And to others. ❤️🙏

It has choir and the organ in it so it can technically be considered Christmas music. 🎄

New entry in a movie series from a sex pest director, starring a CCP propaganda puppet and one of the comedians from this years Saudi Arabia comedy festival, all requested by a notorious pedophile and a wanabe dictator.

Yay.

I don't think anything sums up the emptiness and desperation of pop culture nostalgia machine better than that 30 second Scrubs revival trailer.

The long, slow, 1970's -thriller-esque zooms on Tim Robinson's awkward face is really what's been selling me on The Chair Company.

The cold is very harsh, and my children desperately need warm winter clothes.💔
I'm truly afraid they might get sick, and I can't bear to see any of them suffer.🥹

Please…your support can help keep them warm and safe. 🫂

There's been something missing for me in Edgar Wright's post-Cornetto filmography which is especially apparent now in THE RUNNING MAN that starts as a fun and raw satire and ends as a melodramatic shlock with a very weird take on the ending of the book, to which it was very faitful up to that point.

Yes, raping a 15-year old technically isn't called pedophilia, it's technically called ephebophilia. But boy oh boy what does it say about you if you feel the need to split hairs about this.

Oh sure, just cancel Poker Face. It's not like it was the best show currently on television or anything…

It's a high time for the direct market, but non-licensed comics — i.e. creator-owned + other original comics — are going through a "wildly unpredictable" period.

In this week's feature, I talked to creators about navigating this uncertain time, what's fueling it, and how it's affecting their plans.

It’s a great time for the direct market. 1 Comic shops are thriving, new readers are getting onboard, and veteran fans are excited as well. More than that, the comics themselves are good, which genera...

I found myself in a weird mental position where if there were screenings of GDT's Frankenstein in my local cinemas, I'd happily go see it. But the idea of watching it on Netflix as a "Netflix Original" just feels yuck to me.

The newly revealed U.S.S. Enterprise-D kinda confirms to me that, as opposed to the Star Wars ships that look purposefully rough and beat down, the Star Trek ships are usually too slick and clean to really look good in LEGO form.

The minifigs are neat, though.
