It’s Bijoya and usually we all eat fun things and our elders bless us. This night is also when my father died two decades ago. It feels like it was yesterday. So I make food that he would have enjoyed on this day. Tandoori salmon tikka kababs ⬇️

I’m taking care of a dear friend’s lovely puppy. His love filled eyes early morning just make me happy. And even though I mourn the passing of my pup, there’s a gentle love from other pups that gives me hope. There’s a reason why some of us love puppies more than people. Just look at this one.
