Okay, fair, it was somewhat more generic than the pepe version, but surely you realize the slav squat is also just a different meme almost exclusive to the alt-right? I don't think any of this is definitive, but basic cultural awareness suggests one interpretation pretty strongly

For at least a year, I've had the idea of building a function to reproject coordinates near the coast into an along-shore/inland reference frame, but couldn't quite think of how to do it until last weekend.
Here's an example of the Pekel mask reprojected using the tool. Pretty fun geometry problem.

Seems like Strava has decreased their sampling interval, the interpolation on my bike rides is much less accurate lately. I don't mind much, but looks pretty silly on short rides.

Managed to finish 69 books this year, almost double what I got through last year. Starting a legitimate reading hobby as an adult is great b/c there's so much good shit out there I haven't gotten to read yet.

It was, in fact, pretty big. Here's a shot from our hike through the Santa Elena canyon that the Rio Grande has been carving for like 2 million years. Pour one out for my wife for having to listen to me talk about Precambrian rock 30 times today.
