There are. if you sink an enemy vessel, killing the survivors is a war crime. I’m not sure if you are necessarily obligated to rescue survivors, but killing them is a war crime. A US sub skipper in WW2 was briefly in hot water because he sank Japanese life boats after attacking a convoy.
